Riverbend Farm briefly played host Saturday afternoon to two hikers trekking from Maine to Florida to raise funds for military families. Hikers Kristen Creech and her boyfriend William Mosebach embarked on the nearly 3,000-mile-long journey on Sept. 8. They came to Uxbridge Saturday to take part in a meet-and-greet event and raise money for Active Heroes, a charity benefiting veterans and their families. Creech said the journey is expected to take about seven months.
