Please join us for the graduation of REBOOT Workshop Class 87 sponsored by Soroptimist International, Wells Fargo, General Atomics and USS Midway Museum on Friday March 24, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., at our headquarters in the Point Loma Nazarene University building located in Mission Valley at 4007 Camino Del Rio South, San Diego CA 92108.

Keynote by Dr. Gloria J. McNeal

Dr. Gloria J. McNeal is a nationally board certified advanced practice nurse with more than 35 years of academic and clinical experience in the discipline of nursing. She is a member of the board of the Association of Black Nursing Faculty (ABNF), is the immediate past Editor of The ABNF Journal, and sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Cultural Diversity. A prolific author of over 140 articles, abstracts, books and book chapters, she is widely published in the field of nursing on issues related to cultural competence, telehealthcare, and critical care nursing. The recipient of over $12 million in extra mural federal and state grant awards, her funding has been used to support: 1) the development of cultural competence in curricula of study, 2) the implementation of strategies to increase diversity in the health professions, and 3) the utilization of interdisciplinary primary care delivery models in under served communities. She has held academic leadership positions as program director, assistant dean, associate dean, and founding dean for schools of nursing, with joint appointments in a school of medicine and an academic health science center. She is the recipient of numerous federal and state proclamations; a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the highest honor bestowed by the discipline of nursing; and, a former Navy Nurse Corps Officer. She currently serves as the Dean of the School of Health and Human Services at National University, and was recently named by the San Diego Business Journal a Woman Who Means Business awardee.

About the Workshop:
The Mission of the REBOOT Workshop is to help facilitate an effective REINTEGRATION through personal self EMPOWERMENT training that stimulates BRAIN/BODY OPTIMIZATION to open participants to OPPORTUNITIES that ensures a successful TRANSITION from the military community to the veteran community.
