JIm Wong
Board Chair
Jim has over 35 years designing and leading change in Global Industrial 500 companies and in the nonprofit sector. As an external change agent, Jim has worked successfully on four continents with large U.S. and foreign corporations to tackle major organizational issues stemming from global market changes, mergers and acquisitions, industry consolidations, strategic alliances, and corporate restructuring.
Jeremy Glaser
Vice Chair
Jeremy is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Section in the San Diego office, and serves as Co-Chair of the Venture Capital and Emerging Companies practice group. He is also a member of the firm’s Energy and Clean Technology practice group, which serves more than 240 clients. Since 2006, the Energy and Clean Technology group has completed over 150 transactions, including more than 65 since 2009.
Mike Malone
Mr. Malone is currently a Vistage Chair who Leads groups of Chief Executives who are committed to becoming better leaders, making better decisions and getting better results. A CPA and Attorney by training and experience – He has been an executive – CEO, COO or CFO for multiple technology companies in the San Diego area. Specializes is growing, managing, and leading companies who are past the start-up stage.
Maurice Wilson
President/Exec Dir
Maurice served 25 years in the US Navy in various positions of senior enlisted leadership and is a graduate of the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy. His post-military career includes more than 11 years non-profit experience as the Vice President/Director of Workforce Development for the Urban League of San Diego County.

Gregg Cox
San Diego County Supervisor
Supervisor Greg Cox represents more than 609,000 residents of the First Supervisorial District on the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. The First District extends from the Pacific Ocean in the west to the Otay and San Miguel mountains in the east and from Crown Point on Mission Bay in the north to the U.S./Mexico international border in the south. At the heart of the district lies San Diego Bay, a 23-square mile resource for commerce, ecology and recreation.
Toni Atkins
Speaker Atkins proudly represents the people of coastal San Diego, from Imperial Beach, along the Mexican border, north to Solana Beach, and most of central San Diego. She previously served eight years on the San Diego City Council, and became a stabilizing force during a tumultuous period in 2005, stepping in as Acting Mayor after the resignation of the mayor.

Rich is co-founder of Operation Legacy to help veteran men and women transition from military to civilian life.
Mark Cafferty

Michael is an internationally known public speaker and author. He lectures for professional associations worldwide. Michael has authored multiple published works including 3 books, over a dozen training Manuals, and numerous articles in the financial services genre.
Laura Paquian
Master Chief Petty Officer (Ret)
A former Navy Command Career Counselor, Laura's focus is on servant leadership, Team and consensus building, conflict resolution, event coordination, public speaking, career coaching, mentoring, organizational development, training.
David Dearie
Master Chief Petty Officer (Ret)
A Navy Command Master Chief with over 28 years experience developing leaders and building teams. David has over fifteen years satellite and Internet Protocol communication experience and over ten years as a Senior Leadership Team member to multiple Admirals and Captains.
Edward Briggs
Vice Admiral (Ret)
Admiral Briggs served as Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic and retired in 1984. Briggs previously served as a Chief of Staff and plans officer to Admiral James L. Holloway III aboard the USS Oklahoma City and is an alumnus of the United States Naval Academy (class of 1949). His awards include the Navy Distinguished Service Medal and Legion of Merit.

Chairman, SDG&E
Jessie J. Knight is chairman of San Diego Gas & Electric Co. (SDG&E); chairman of SoCalGas, an affiliate of SDG&E; and executive vice president for Sempra Energy. SDG&E is a regulated public utility that provides service to 3.4 million consumers through 1.4 million electric meters and more than 861,000 natural gas meters in San Diego and southern Orange counties

Kalem Riley (USN)
Director of Operations
Kalem has over 15 years experience of the military life from a service member, veteran, and currently married to an Active Duty Sailor.  She has a passion and expertise to service those that have served and to bestow the same knowledge that she has gained through the years.  It gives her great pleasure to see the Military Member smile knowing that their life is not coming to an end, it is just the beginning. 
Dr. Charles Macias (USMC)
Workshop Facilitator
Dr. Charles A. Macias, Psy.D, served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He has over 30 years of civilian experience training thousands of individuals in personal development, leadership, and teamwork. He has worked for major aerospace/military companies and Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Macias earned his Doctorate Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in organizational consulting in teamwork, management, leadership, personal development, and action based human performance.
Dr. Kelly Price Noble
Workshop Facilitator
Dr. Kelly Price Noble is the Principal of KAPN Consulting. She is also a faculty member with University of Phoenix, teaching undergraduate and graduate programs. Prior to Dr. Price Noble's arrival at the NVTSI, she was a Clinical Researcher at the Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System, assigned to the Spinal Cord Injury Center; the Executive Director of Cal-Diego Paralyzed Veterans Association; and the President of the Paralyzed Veterans of America's Association of Chapter Executive Directors.
B. Angus MacDonald (USN)
Workshop Facilitator
Angus is a graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy who completed a distinguished Navy career and retired with the rank of Captain. He earned qualifications to command both submarines and surface ships. As a Pacific Institute Project Director and Master Facilitator, his services are well honed with practical experiences being recognized for his successful application of proven scientific principles in best ways of thinking, use of power, and best practices that foster excellence in individual and organizational performance.
Angel Vallejo (USN)
Workshop Facilitator
Angel Vallejo is a REBOOT graduate and Facilitator for the National Veterans Transition Services, Inc. He served in the United States Air Force, where he traveled globally and became a world citizen. After the Military, he began his sales career in Real Estate and chose to further his education and graduated with his bachelors and Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership.
