The biggest obstacle I face in my transition is:

  • Trying to decide on being a full time student, or go to work with going to school part time or vice versa
  • Of course I’m nervous but that I consider natural, this workshop has made it so simple to trust myself and my talents, ablates, and skills.  I know I can overcome any situation.  If I had to name an obstacle I suppose it would be negativity of others.
  • Being prepared, the unknown of when I’m transitioning and trying establish employment immediately.
  • I didn’t know my direction but I now know!
  • Different types of people understanding me, willing to work with me.
  • Getting out of my own way.  There are no obstacles I cannot overcome.
  • Wanting to buy a house, but also wanting to attend college.
  • Adjusting to not being in the military and doing or managing things myself.
  • Transitioning from military life and language.  Going to the private sector.
  • Fear of the unknown, feeling unprepared for the transition.
  • Transition from the military lifestyle to the real world.
  • Nothing.  I’ve already transitioned.
  • Just staying focus regardless of what others say.
  • Stable income, relocation
  • Financial stability

What did you like best about your experience in the REBOOT Program?

  • First week of think and action concept.
  • The support from the facilitators.
  • Reprogramming the way my brain thinks.
  • I know that I will be successful after the navy.  I’m going to be a successful professional.
  • Everything!  Stay the course!
  • Attitudes and negative thoughts sessions.
  • It opened up my eyes to the possibilities there are outside of the military and how I am able to achieve any goals that I set for myself.
  • Education and behavioral discussion.
  • I learn how the way I thought makes a huge difference in achieving my goals.
  • Changing your vision change your life week 1, week 2, week 3.
  • Every single day!
  • The positive reinforcement.  It really made me believe and now that I can believe it, I can live and achieve the positive future I vision.
  • The mentors that I gained.  All of the presenters were awesome.
  • The staff/facilitators were awesome, along with all the guest speakers, videos, power points.  Everything was great.
  • Positive environment.  Location away from military locations.  Resources.  Motivated speakers, facilitators and staff.  Diversified class.
