San Diegans continue to go to bat for its veterans. The San Diego Padres, along with San Diego Gas & Electric have created an easy way for people to raise money for San Diego’s veterans as they transition back to civilian life and find meaningful employment – through a program they call, Going to Bat for San Diego.

It’s simple: every Wednesday at Petco Park throughout the months of August and September, SDG&E will donate a dollar to Operation REBOOT for each Friar Frank hot dog purchased. Operation REBOOT is an employer-driven program to prepare and train local transitioning military personnel and veterans for gainful employment.

We couldn’t think of a better way to enjoy the game! Thank you San Diego Padres and SDG&E!
